A fairly new venue to the city, this is a wonderful little venue to play. It amazes me how people in the neighborhoods come out to enjoy summer music and as with others, I get to meet some very nice folks after the show. Seating provided and a park grounds for kids to play while you tune in or have a late summer picnic. Looking forward to it!
Back at the quaintest music venue in northwestern Wisconsin with Minnesota Association of Songwriter President Wayne Hamilton. I've never been to Ireland but I'd guess this is a good representation of a pub. Friendly folks meetin' anda-greetin', joking and a laughin' and sippin' beverages to the music. Come down and support local business, even if you are from out of town, no townies here, all welcome! Oh yeah and you'll hear some original tunes to make you smile, cry, laugh or think a bit as well.

This is an amazing market with everything from soaps, flowers, jerk sauces, cheeses, ice cream cones... just a huge array of items including of course fruits and veggies. Back again this year for a wonderful outside music venue at Minnehaha Falls Park. There is seating available, a park restaurant across the lawn... just a wonderful place to visit. Each year the Minneapolis Association of Songwriters plays the Lake Harriet Band shell. Join me and a few fellow writer-performers at the beautiful Lake Harriet Park. I was fortunate enough to be asked back for a solo gig after participating in a Minnesota Association of Songwriters showcase. I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful venue Ugly Mug was when I walked in. I was told it was friendly and a wonderful audience and the venue owner very accommodating being a musician himself... all was true. Great menu items, beverages and spacious place to just hang out. I saw folks playing cards and games while enjoying some live music. Come out and give it a go, a short drive from the cities and NW WI area, you'll love it.
Another MAS Showcase where you get to listen to several songwriters for the price of none. I'll be joined by several wonderful songwriters performing original tunes. This is a new venue for the showcase. The Ugly Mug has a wonderful menu selection so come out and enjoy a nice evenign of musical art.

Lake Harriet Band Shell is favored by many as the grand location of the park concert series in Minneapolis. A wonderful see through band shell giving a backdrop of the lake as performers entertain hundreds of music enthusiasts.
I always look forward to playing this venue. Why? It is summer. The park is awesome. The stage is awesome. And most of all, the people of Minneapolis thoroughly enjoy music and it is an honor to return these many times to play for them. Come out and enjoy a wonderful time. The latest location to bring music to the folks in the neighborhoods of Minneapolis, the Bryant Square Park is a quaint open outside venue with seating and plenty of friendly faces to go around. Always a pleasure to play for the friendly appreciative folks here. River Falls Art On The Kinni
Come celebrate art and creativity at River Falls Art On The Kinni this Saturday, September 12. Walk along the White Trail paralleling the Kinnickinnic River, a nationally recognized trout haven. In a rare opportunity I'll be playing the stage for a couple hours along the river with finger style guitar picker Fred Pierce. Check it out, you'll se just about any kind of artistic display you'd like plus have opportunity to sample some of the local food offerings as well. An all new endeavor for the Maple Grove Farmer's Market this year to have live music and I'm honored they've asked me to take part in it. This is a pretty large market with 60 vendors participating. All kinds of fresh foods and fruits. Support local growers as well the MGFM for partnering up with local artists to help them give a community feel to their offerings. Be sure to tell the growers or organization folks if you are enjoying the music and whether they ought continue next year with it.

Vino in the Valley is a unique country Italian restaurant in the midst of an up and coming vineyard. Brick oven pizza, pastas, scrumptious dessert and of course a grand selection of wine… not to mention live music to help you enjoy the experience. You will likely here a toast and choral singing of Amore' by owner Larry Brenner between the greeting of customers and driving hayrides around the property.

Corn Feed at First Covenant Church
Short notice performance. Fellow songster Dan Semi was kind enough to ask me to join in on the musical fun at the First Covenant Church in River Falls as part of the River Falls Day Celebration. The church is putting on a corn feed event. . . yumm city!! There's lots going on at this city-wide yearly event so stop in at the church, grab some corn, tap your toes to the tunes while crunchin' a summer treat! A mixture of folk and gospel tunes. . . hope you can come out and enjoy!

Father Hennepin Bluffs Park provides areas for picnicking and play. The park offers direct access to footpaths and bridges that display a unique view of the Mississippi River Gorge, the downtown skyline and the Stone Arch Bridge. Featuring a covered band stand, the park is a picturesque site for weddings. The 5.5 acre park is located at the corner of Main St. SE and 6th Ave. SE. It is next to Pillsbury Park, a 2.4 acre area at the corner of Main St. SE and 3rd Ave SE. The bluff is named for Father Louis Hennepin, a Franciscan priest believed to have been the first to view St. Anthony Falls in 1680 from the shore of this land mass.

Back for the third time to this unique performance venue. This is the only place played where you will find folks intently listening to the music at one table, the next table find a couple playing a board game, across the room sweethearts making eyes or holding hands while sharing a glass of wine or specialty beer, next to them a group playing cards and all thoroughly enjoying themselves. All up they genuinely enjoy the music and sense of community. John and Jean are excellent hosts to all who grace their threshold.

Join Brad in supporting the Sue West Martel Town Hall Charitable Event. Each second Thursday of the month folks gather for a time of community gathering and a light lunch followed by a performance of music or poetry. This month Brad will provide music of original tunes and perhaps a cover or two as well.
The evening will begin at 6:30 pm with a light soup supper and beverages. Sue West or a volunteer will play two songs as a musical prelude, beginning at 7 pm sharp, and Brad will then play till about 8:00PM.
The Martell Town Hall is located at the old Methodist church building at the intersection of Hwy 63 and county road Y in Pierce County Wisconsin. This is about 9 miles south of Baldwin along Hwy. 63. The building is accessible to the handicapped. The group will probably meet in the upstairs space, depending upon any conflicts with other meetings in the building that night. These musical/poetic evenings have been well-attended by local families and by arts lovers from outlying areas. Free of charge and open to the public, a free-will offering is asked for the supper. All money collected will go to Pine Lake Pastures and to the upkeep of the old town hall unless a special community need exists. See below for directions or contact Sue West for more info.

The Cedar Cultural Center is a great place to check out all kinds of musical shows. This Wednesday's open mike night hosted by Nigel Egg, a Twin Cities bluesman will be in keeping with the wonderful events at The Cedar. Live acoustic CD recording!
The threshold of procrastination was finally broke by the encouragement if not push of supportive friends and relatives as well those gracious folks at the end of shows asking for a CD… finally a CD project is scheduled.
What the coolest thing is that you can have an interactive part in making this CD project come a"live". You don't have to do anything but take an evening listening to some tunes and interacting accordingly. We'd love to have you come out. If you're in the River Falls area, you know where Hot Spot is. If you are in the cities, it is just a short drive out to the quaint town of River Falls.

Time: 7PM – 9PM Recording starts at 7PM, if possible try to come a bit early to get situated, but come when you can… don't let that stop you.

TheBryant Square Pavilion is a new venue for the Minneapolis Park system and the community is excited to have this open up to them. Brad and friends from the Minnesota Association of Songwriters will be providing music entertainment as part of the summer concert series.
